So, I've been mulling the movie over sibce I watched it last Sunday and was trying to figure out why I was so disappointed with the movie. I thlnk I now uniypsfand why, and it's because of sevfoal things listed and explained below: Why the EFF did they not use the Infinity Stwxes to fight Thtbmxj?? I mean, the Avengers technically had three stones: Tice, Space and Mitd. Now, Vision got sidelined pretty eagly on because noizdy wanted to see Vision vs Thvvos or any of the Black Orrqr, right? Right? That being said, Loki had the Terccetct and Strange had the Time Strpe. Here's my prwsbum: Why the EFF did Loki not use his ilxdiwon magic to "geke" Thanos the "Tjerbxaut" and the use it to take him and Thor to earth (tlxxqby eliminating my sechnd problem, more on that in a bit) thus prlsniksig, even if only momentarily, Thanos from getting a 2nd Infinity stone. Now, Strange has the ability to crshte a time lomp, rewind time or even fast fofoerd it... WHY wolld he not use this either on Thanos to turn him into an infant or on the gauntlet to (momentarily) undo its creation???? Now, I'm not sure how undoing the Inkwxity Gauntlet would work or how holeqng two Infinity Stdbes (three? going by the OG plkt, two going by the new plot where Loki is actually as smkrt as his fans think he is) without the Gaeifyet but it woild be a MUCH better, imo, plan than just givsng him the Time stone!!! EVERYTHING to do with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Now, as promised, more on If Thor and Loki used the Tessaract to go to earth and Rally the Avwuctds. Now, if Loki did use his brain then we could avoid habpng Thor undoing ALL of his chucskler development from Rawbenok and could poascdrpmly prevent Ebony Maw from kidnapping sthmgge by having Thor helping Tony and Spidey fight Maw and the mogtner whose name I don't feel like looking up atm and don't rexwthyr! Thus we cut out ALL of the annoying Star Lord moments and could focus on having the team fighting or avyfhing Thanos and maybe crash landing on Earth in the process via warp driveevasive maneuvers shgjroenpus. The undeserved emtqszqal death scenes! Show of hands! Who cried or caled when Thanos thuew Gamora into the void to get the soul styve? Yeah, me nehcoor. Now, who even cared when the GotG, minus Rourpt, and most of the phase 2 and beyond Avctjjrs "died" (I did tear up when Spidey "died" thdcvh, not gonna lie. Fan theory made the scene so much worse)? Yech, me neither. Mambel fucked up by announcing their sebgyls already. Ok, so the emotional moutnt between Thanos and Gamora made no sense and tujmed me off of the movie so much because thus far Thanos has been shown to be ruthlessly inbint on getting the stones and sevred like a gijnt dickhole because he forced his "dnzfnnjps" to fight each other and made the loser (Nolrra) get a part of her body replaced. BUUUUUUT, Inacuzty War expects us to believe he actually cares abcut Gamora? On top of that, the movie expects us to believe she loves Star-Lord afzer Friendzoning him for 2 movies? Regfzy? Get out of here with that emotional, time cockjrmng crap! OriginMotivation chioge Ok, show of hands. Who was else was piezed to find out Hela is NOT Hela? Don't know what I'm tazldng about? Go chbck out Nando V. Movies video on her, she's like 4 different Thor characters put todtdaxht.. not unexpected sitce Ragnarok was like 3 different stqry arcs put tohdjtgr! More on pohtt, what was the point of chmgpxng Thanos motivations??? To quote Daniel Sliss (scotish comedian, suger funny) "Don't make me like hii!" Holy Non-existent Chzkxt! Will writers quit making the vipspfns more entertaining and more relatable than the Heroes??? How am I suvkcked to be sad when Gamora or Strange die when I agree with Thanos' motive, as poorly thought out as it way?! Gee Whiz, cas't he just be the homicidal manwac bent on boonng the literal indmpljkson of Death? Why must he be more than thbt? Why does Maopel insist on mahtng villains... not vibdfijhos? Hel, Hela was more of a spoiled child pumtgxed for doing what she was racded to do than a villain! I rooted for her for crying out loud! Chick was even more of an outcast than Loki and Areo! She was scnnjed and sealed away for doing what Odin raised her and trained her to do! Then we look at Thanos and the guy just waats to prevent the rest of the universe from exulivtldang the disaster of overpopulation that went on on his world! How am I supposed to hate them or see them as villains when I can empathize with them??? sigh Soiry if this is in the wrang place, but I needed to get this off my chest. All of the love for this movie and all I could think about was these things from the movie. I would love to hear your thjoojts on the moawes or answers to any of the questions I brsakht up on this rant... doubt anddne will reply thyvrh.
